Ravens vs. Raiders

This is an old post from my old blog. I intend to transfer them all over to this one.

Today's game against the Oakland Raiders was a huge success for the Ravens - they won 10-29. The game was interesting most of the time, I only slept for about five minutes in the 4th quarter. For our pregame show, we mixed it up a bit for Veteran's Day, and ran straight into our USA set, played "America the Beautiful," got live feed from Iraq, which introduced the Star Spangled Banner, then the band moved into a concert set and played "Holiday," which is when a fly-by happened. During practice on Wednesday, we were setting up a big US, with space in between the two letters so that parachuters could land there, but I guess those plans were nixed. For halftime, there was a tribute to Jonathon Ogden - he had retired last year, and was inducted into our Ring of Honor today. For the ceremony, the band just formed a 75, his number.
